I Believe

That I write this blog to help my friends and family believe that impossibly wonderful things might just be possible, that most of our wildest dreams are actually achievable, that it’s alright to be considered weird or even insane if what we’re doing makes sense to us.

When you are down to nothing, God is up to something! 🙂

Truly, that with the few people you truly care about, the sun shouldn’t set on an argument. With some, the hour shouldn’t pass on an argument.

I believe that people get what they deserve, and when they do, there’s nothing they can do about it but grin and bear it. Or frown and bear it.

I believe that our choices shape our destiny. And that we, and only we, are in control of our lives.

I believe that nothing will go significantly wrong to MY people. My good luck stretches over to protect them too, like an umbrella.

I believe that it is not just optimism that has kept me from harm all these years. If I had to explain what optimism is for me, it will be one part absolute faith in the almighty, and another part knowledge of his grace and the power of his eternal promises.

I believe that whenever I leap, the net will appear. Every single time. That’s why I leap so often! 🙂

That I should stop seeking praise and defending myself and simply be grateful for the opportunity to create.

That most of the stuff on this blog is on it simply because I love to write, and I enjoy creating. I love knowing that I have readers, of course, but I write primarily because I love doing so, and I believe deeply in the ideas I proffer here.
